What led me to becoming a Travel Agent

I decided to pursue being a travel agent because I have really enjoyed planning business and personal trips for the last twelve years as part of my previous job in the beer business, under Lanny Layman.  I enjoy doing research, and I love getting things for a really great price!   During this time, I realized how much I love the industry.   Now a Travel Agent Full Time (since 2011), I would like to do the same for others!    The company I have chosen to be affiliated with has 500 agents across the country.  They have an amazing reputation and a networking system that allows me to glean information from other experienced agents about the best places to send my clients, including the best airfare and quality hotels, along with memorable vacation locations!  My favorite part is that my services are ABSOLUTELY FREE for the people I’m working for, as my income comes from the travel vendors.
